The 3D printing technology is widely applied in the medical industry and has become a leading popular new technology. To strengthen the competitive advantage of Taiwan's industry in medical grade 3D-printing manufacturing, "NARLabs Medical Instrument Value Creation Alliance" was established in 2014 and is headquartered in ITRC. Chairman Jui-Hsiung Yen of Tongtai Machine & Tool stated that through technology introduction and medical clinical support from NARLabs, a biomedical supply chain can be established in Taiwan.
