NARLabs signed an MOU with Thai BISPA

In 2019, NARLabs signed a memorandum of cooperation with Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and established an office in Bangkok’s Thailand Science Park (TSP).

Jointly established by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC), the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) and the NSTDA, the Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association (Thai-BISPA) aims to use the Southeast Asian country’s local and international links, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and commercializing research technology transfers.

On March 10, NARLabs President, Dr. Kuang-Chong Wu, and Thai-BISPA President, Dr. Sakarindr Bhumiratana, signed a memorandum of cooperation between two institutions. Chief Operations Officer of NARLabs, Mr. Yu-Hsueh Hsu introduced the Shalun Smart Green Energy City, and hopefully it will be one of many opportunities for multi-party cooperation which our institution can apply its expertise. Both sides can begin linking the capabilities of Taiwan and Thailand's industries, academia and research communities, thereby forging deeper and broader scientific research cooperation with Thailand and other neighboring ASEAN countries.
