The NARL’s Science & Technology Policy Research and Information Center (STPI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Elsevier, a world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services on November 11, 2010 for collaboration in the construction of a comprehensive scientific database. This database will be a far-reaching tool for grappling scientific and innovative performance at a relatively detailed level of activity across the country. Based on the established database, the NARL-STPI and Elsevier will also jointly conduct comparative strength analyses of Taiwan’s research capacity in reference to global trends and opportunities in science and technology.
