Recognizing the importance of scientific cooperation and the mutual benefit to be derived from international collaboration, the National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC) added two new partners to its fold of international cooperation. The new partners are National Institute of Informatics, Japan, and MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia. The latter is a strategic agency for information and communication technologies (ICT) and microelectronics under purview of the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. The NCHC signed the memoranda of understanding with these two new partners in June 2009.
