One of the National Nano Device Laboratories (NDL) scientists, Dr. Ming-Pei Lu, was the senior author for a paper published in Nano Letters (Vol. 9, No. 3, 1223–1227). This joual is one of the most important jouals in nanotechnology, by far with the highest impact factor in this field (9.627). The paper entitled “Piezoelectric nanogenerator using p-type ZnO nanowire arrays” demonstrates for the first time the energy conversion using phosphorus-doped ZnO nanowire (NW) arrays grown on silicon substrate.
