The Instrument Technology Research Center (ITRC) has assisted National Taiwan University, the University of Southampton, the UK, and Imperial College London, the UK in organizing the 2009 East-West Summit on Nanophotnics and Meta-Materials seminar that was held at National Taiwan University during April 29 to May 2, 2009. It brought together the top professionals in nanophotonics and meta-materials from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
