During trial period of THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail), Formosat-2 successfully captured the image of northbound train at the north of Chiayi station at 10:04 am on Jan. 8. All the THSR stations are clearly seen from Formosat-2 images, the swath is about 24kms long could pROVide a good reference for construction plans of transportation, urban planning, and environmental assessment.
