An international conference entitled “International Workshop on IGCC Technology” was held by STPI of NARL on November 28. A number of prominent experts were invited to deliver speech and join the panel discussion to share their valuable viewpoints and experiences of IGCC technology development regarding the topics of political and commercial strategies, current development, bottlenecks and challenges. The speakers respectively came from Coal Utilization Research Council, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry, Shell Global Solutions, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and General Electric Company.
