Dr. Jae-Young Kim and Dr. Jung-Suk Hong, the research fellows of Korea Institute of Science & Technology Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP), visited STPI of NARL during November 12~25 and participated in the workshop entitled “S&T Program Performance Evaluation: The Methodology and Experience”, which was based on the cooperative MOU signed between KISTEP and STPI. There were some lecture subjects included in the workshop such as the overview of Taiwan’s R&D development and policy framework, Strategic planning on the development of Taiwan agricultural industry, Methodology: patent analysis and bibliometric analysis, Introduction for evaluation-related databases of STPI, and so on. In addition to the in-house lectures, they also visited Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) and Hsin-Chu Science Park during period of stay.
