An international conference entitled “Development of Offshore Wind Energy in Taiwan” was held by STPI and TIER on October 23. A number of prominent experts who are involved in the American Wind Energy Association were invited to deliver speeches and join the panel discussion to share their valuable viewpoints and experiences on offshore wind energy development. The conference was divided into 3 sessions including the status quo of global wind energy development, the operation model of American Wind Energy Association, and the cooperative mechanism between Taiwan and USA on wind energy.
