The Director General of NSPO, Lance Wu, was awarded the certificate from the Academia of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) on Oct. 1 to serve as the Co-Chair of a new working group called "Hitch-Hiking to the Moon", which will be in charge of IAA's initiative on integrating significant exploration activities on moon among different space organizations including NASA, JAXA, ESA, ISRO and China's Moon Missions. In addition, together with Dr. Lou-chuang Lee (President of National Central University), NSPO proposed to IAA committee for consideration of Taiwan hosting the 2010 IAC in Taipei.
