The National Applied Research Laboratories (NARL) organized the 2009 Taiwan Integrated Earth Observation System (TIEOS) Forum on June 9, 2009. The forum provided a platform for international exchange as well as integration of Taiwan's Earth observation systems. The event drew more than 120 participants from Taiwan and other countries. Through this international forum, Taiwan furthered its contribution to the international community's endeavor in prediction of climate changes and improvement of environment monitoring.
