National Institute of Informatics is an inter-university research institute that focuses on a state-of-the-art academic-information infrastructure and joint efforts with universities and research institutions throughout Japan. The director general of NII, Dr. Masao Sakauchi, visited NCHC in Hsinchu and Tainan center from Dec. 8 to Dec. 10 and met with President Juang of NARL on Dec. 8, seeking the collaborative possibilities, particular in the area of network and grid.
