Dr. Jer-Nan JuangNARL Board of directors appointed Dr. Jer-Nan Juang as the second President on Aug. 15 2006. Dr. Juang engaged in space tech research after he got the Ph.D. degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He worked for NASA Langley Research Center serving as a Principal Scientist, and served as a Fellow in several renowned international academic associations like American Astronautical Society (AAS), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He came back to Taiwan and led National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC) of NARL as the Director General since 2000.
