The National Instruments Taiwan has organized the 8th Paper Contest in 2009 on the most innovative solution for measurement and automation. Two papers from the NARL's Instrument Technology Research Center (ITRC), entitled "An infrared light 3D face recognition system integrated with two-axis parallel motion mechanism by LabVIEW" and "The application of NI CompactRIO embedded system on the SNR measurement system of automatic image sensor," were awarded with honorary mentions for the industry segment in this contest.
