A joint conference on laboratory animal science planned

The National Laboratory Animal Center (NLAC) is organizing a joint conference for the 4th congress of the Asian Federation of Laboratory Animal Science Associations (AFLAS), the 5th conference of the Asian Mouse Mutagenesis Resource Association (AMMRA), and the 11th annual meeting of the Chinese-Taipei Society of Laboratory Animal Sciences (CSLAS) to be held in November 2010 in Taiwan. Toward this end, a preparatory meeting will be conducted at Taipei International Convention Center on September 11, 2009 with invitees from China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The objective of the 2010 joint conference is to pROVide a platform for about 700 researchers, academicians and industrial professionals from Asia and beyond to present their research results and development activities in laboratory animal science. Distinguished scientists will be invited to give lectures on various aspects of the frontiers and trends of laboratory animal sciences. And the exhibition will have the hottest showcase for technology innovations in laboratory animal research and development. This joint conference shall pROVide opportunities for the participants to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find international partners for future collaboration.
