In order to impROVe the basic research environment in humanities and social sciences, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National Science Council acquired five databases in December, 2006. STPI and NCHC had been authorized to use four of them, PAO, EEBO, ECCO and MOMW to develop an integrated searching system HUSO (Humanities & Social Sciences Research Resources) in http://huso.stpi.org.tw. The HUSO system is open to the academic research community for free access.
