To better understand the developing trends in sci-tech policy research and in information services, Director-General of STPI, Dr. P.C. Wang, and Dr. S. P. Wu visited several organizations such as Rand Corporation, National Science Foundation, and Science and Technology Policy Institute in the US from May13 to May 21, 2008. The visit is to these organizations allowed STPI to understand their current research directions and methodologies to cultivate the core competence of STPI. In addition, the Agreement between Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information and STPI was reviewed and will be renewed in the future to continue the cooperation between both parties.
