STPI held the"Cybercrime and Digital Forensics Conference" on 26 October, 2007, which was organized by STPI in cooperation with Criminal Investigation Bureau and sponsored by National Science Council. The conference brought the experts and scholars together from Criminal Investigation Bureau, Banchiao District Prosecutors Office, Taipei District Prosecutors Office, Central Police University, National Taiwan University, and Investigation Bureau of Ministry of Justice. The conference aims to raise the public awareness in terms of the trend of cybercrimes, criminal investigations, legal countermeasures, digital forensics and other related issues which might happen in information society.
