The National Science & Technology Center for disaster Reduction had signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Real-time Earthquake Information Consortium of Japan on September 3, 2007 for the mutual cooperation on seismic disaster prevention and strategy, as well as the development and application of real-time earthquake warning system.
