STPI held the "Cutting-edge Agricultural Technology Committee"on July 31, 2007, which gathered many experts from agricultural field such as the Council of Agriculture (COA), National Science Council (NSC) and universities. The meeting tried to figure out the goal, strategic framework, research model and schedule for cutting-edge agricultural technology.
