NSPO hosted the "Workshop on Environmental Monitoring and Natural Disaster Management" on June 29, which was sponsored by the International Cooperation Development Fund and National Central University, and co-sponsored by Industrial Technology Research Institute, NCDR, and NSPO, etc.. The 27 participants of the workshop came from 22 countries. NSPO introduced FORMOSAT-2, a remote sensing satellite, and its applications and benefits of the disaster prevention and the rescue work. NSPO deems the technology diplomacy through these participants is enhanced.
