Dr. Fog-Chen Chiu, the Director of NCOR (Preparatory Office), participated in the Joint Symposium UT07-SSC07 (International Symposium on Underwater Technology 2007 – International Workshop on Scientific Use of Submarine Cables and Related Technologies 2007) which was held during April 17 ~ 20 in Tokyo and made a speech entitled "Mathematical Model and Simulation for the Maneuvering Motions of Underwater Gliders", and he was also invited to serve as the co-chairman of the session FC1 for the theme of "Glider/Hydrodynamics".
