In accordance with the policy decision from Advisory Committee Board of NDPPC by the Executive Yuan, NCDR proposed the policy-making advice and held the “Round Table Discussion Forum” on Feb. 5. The forum mainly focused on the issues including response strategies for the disasters caused by environmental and climate change, new types of public safety problems, versatile disaster prevention system and information, etc. By the end of this forum, the Minister Chien-Jen Chen of the National Science Council hosted the press conference and made a description of the achievements of NAPHM and the prominent advice in forum.
