The Taiwan-Japan Joint Advanced Workshop on IPv6 Technology was successfully held by NCHC of NARL during November 23-25. Ten Japanese professional researchers and engineers were invited through Dr. Akira Kato of University of Tokyo and nine Taiwanese network experts were invited by NCHC. Nearly sixty participants of related field have joined and contributed valuable comments and suggestions to this workshop. The workshop emphasized on the status of IPv6 development in various related domains and the prospects of IPv6 technology. This event has also created an opportunity for the future cooperation between Taiwan and Japan in the advanced IPv6 technology.
