SC06, held during 11/13-11/17 at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida, was the premier international conference on high performance computing, networking and storage. It was also a significant worldwide exchange platform of technical information for supercomputing consisting of more than 20 technical conferences, forums and demonstrations. NCHC of NARL was the only research institution to participate in SC06 from Taiwan. Besides collecting the related technological data, NCHC demonstrated about 12 major achievements such as BIO informatics, EcoGrid, hazard mitigation Grid, and E-leaing in the SC06. NCHC had demonstrated R&D results with PRAGMA and had a discussion with Osaka University of Japan for the future cooperation.
