Dr. Shyh-Jiann Hwang, the Deputy Director General of NCREE, and Dr.Yuan-Tao Weng participated in “The 2nd NEES/E-Defense Workshop on Collapse Simulation of Reinforced Concrete Building Structures” which was held in E-Defense laboratory, Japan in November, 2006. The NCREE presented two papers in this workshop and also discussed the collaborative plan and preliminary schedule among USA, Japan and Taiwan in the future.
